ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Services Pending

ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Services Pending

I'm excited to announce that I have started providing Notary  Public Services, as one step in transition in advocacy roles from union leader to other advocacy role ( For parlegel and ADR services to come, see more below and other pages) If I can be of service, please send me a message with your contact details in Contact  Tim section. Note: I am providing these services part-time, during evenings and weekends by appointment only, as I continue to work at current full time job)

Honoured that I was recently hired to provide Notary Services to my first clients, a family in there time of need after passing of father in another country, making the process smooth, reducing stress at this sensitive time for the family.

I have a Mobile Notary stamp, available to travel within the Toronto area to notarize documents  (see more on the Notary Section )

To make an appointment, or just inquire about Notary Service, please click on the "Contact Tim" botton to send me a message.

A "notary public" is a person authorized by the government of Ontario to witness the signing of documents and administer oaths and declarations. A notary public has all the powers of a commissioner for taking affidavits, can witness or certify, and attest, the execution of a document, and certify and attest documents to be true copies of an original.

Since I have already had a lot of people ask me about proviving virtual services, I thought would be appropriate to explaing that "remote" or "virtual" notarization is currenlty not permitted in Ontario. Virtual notarization had been permitted for a period of time during the pandemic, by regulation made under the Notaries Act , this regulation has been changed.

For further information, see the Law Society Ontario (LSO) website and the Notaries Act, the legislation which governs the notarising of documents in Ontario.

My Education and Training - related to My Services

My Education and Training - related to My Services

I am a Licensed Paralegal, licensed by the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) in the Fall of 2024 after passing the Paralegal (P1 Lincensing exam in the summer of 2024).

However, I am not currently providing Legal Services. I am still exploring what areas of law I will provide services in, most likely in the area of labour and employment law, and others areas of law as they relate to the workplaces - human rights for example ( Draft Slogan:  A Helping Hand to Justice in the Workplace & Beyond)

Also, as I continue to work full time at the City of Toronto during the day Monday- Friday, I am exploring what services I can provide part-time outside day hours to support clients in their proceedings.

I am open to exploring collaborations with other paralegals and lawyers in providing services to clients - if interested please send me a note in "Contact Tim"
